Band ada, tarian ada, teater ada, puisi ada, nasyid pun ada. Pendek kata, semua lah ada. InsyaAllah saya dan rakan-rakan juga akan berpentas dalam slot teater dan puisi. Sekarang ni sedang dalam proses latihan and perahan idea. Ajak kawan2, pakwe-makwe, adik beradik. Mari kita sama2 memeriahkan SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE!

Burlesque's star Christina Aguilera decided to put her Beverly Hills home up for sale. And the best part is that the house is Burlesque-themed! You can be a star in your own burlesque in this house, that's for sure. Nobody is going to stop you since it's your OWN HOUSE. That is if you have US$13.5 million.

The 10,000 sq ft home boasts 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. (I'm always wondering why they always have more bathrooms than bedrooms.)

Christina and her ex-husband Jordan Bratman bought the home from Ozzy Osbourne and his wife, Sharon, for around US$11 million in 2008. The palatial estate was featured in MTV reality series, The Osbournes. Upon buying it, Christina had completely revamped the property which also has a grotto pool with a waterfall, and a guest house.

So how about that? Want to live in the real burlesque? Come on people, show me how you burlesque!

ilham ni bila nak datang memang tak kira tempat dan masa. kalau dia nak datang, dia memang ikut sedap dia je nak serang kat mana2. kadang2 tu kat dalam bilik air pun ada. selalunya memang kat situ lah. masa tu lah dapat idea nak tulis puisi, masa tu lah tiba2 dapat melodi, masa tu lah dapat jalan cerita untuk teater. semua nak datang sekali harung masa tu. sampai tak tahu nak fikir mana satu dulu. sedar2 dah sabun badan guna syampu. tu belum kira masa cuci muka guna ubat gigi.

kadang2 tu lagi dua tiga minit nak lelapkan mata, masa tu lah ilham datang mencurah2. nak menaip masa tu malas lah pula nak on laptop balik. capai je lah apa2 kertas yang ada atas meja. tak jumpa kertas, taip dalam henfon pun jadi. esok2 taip balik dalam laptop.

ilham datang memang kita tak jangka. semua ni atas usaha kita juga. dan juga izinNya. bila Tuhan nak bagi, dia boleh bagi bila2 masa. kun faya kun. bila Allah kata jadi, maka jadilah ia.

I went for another picnic last weekend and this time it's with my groovy roomies! My roomies and I had planned for our girls'-day-out since last month. Early planning is pretty much necessary since it's very rare for all four of us to be available in the same weekend. So I told them about my picnic with Mr Kopi 'O' last month - I posted about it here - and since they are all also fans of picnics and parties, we all agreed to have a picnic party by the beach. I wanted to let them taste the famous Gelora Curry Puff I had mentioned and my most favourite burger of all time - Burgermbira!

So we left UMP at about 11 am and were headed for Kuantan right away. We did a little bit of shopping before heading to Taman Gelora at about 4.30 pm for the fluffy curry puffs. We settled on the far end of Teluk Chempedak beach where there are not as many people compared to the other parts of the beach. We had so much fun eating in the friendly breeze while posing for the camera. It was definitely a blast!
