Papa, please be safe..
As I'm preparing for my final exams which starts on the 3rd of November, my father is busy preparing for his flight to Pakistan on the same day. He will be flying there as a journalist on duty. It's good to know that he is doing something that he loves. What worries me is his safety over there.
Just yesterday, I heard over the news that southwest Pakistan was shaken by a 6.4 magnitude quake. Before that, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck Muzaffarabad in Pakistan. This is really starting to make me worried. To add to the already intense worry, there is a possibility that he is also going to Afghanistan. Now this is going to make me worried sick. Afghanistan is not a safe country to be in right now. Also from the news yesterday, I found out there was a suicide bombing which happened somewhere in the country and this is not the only one. Several bombings had happened in Afghanistan.
To Papa, while you are there, always remember that 2753 miles from you, your beloved daughter will always love you, hoping you are in great condition, praying for your health and safety. So please take care and be safe...

KKK AGM & DINNER and The Brodic Acapella
After all that, came the part that we were all actually there for. The part where we can enjoy the food! The concept of the menu was International Buffet and there were names of dishes which I've never even heard of. As expected, the food was superb. After dinner the guests were served with a musical performance by UMP's Orquesta, an orchestra group also under KKK. Hotel California was really swaying the house.
After the performance by Orquesta, people were already busy taking photos, capturing memories in a still picture. Loads of photos were taken by loads of camera. Kak Dalina alone was using 2 DSLRs.
However, the most memorable part was when The Brodic Acapella sang 'Happy Birthday' to my mother over the phone. Yes, it was also my mother's birthday (and no, I haven't forgotten it, ma) and they actually said 'mama'. Thanks Brodic Acapella for the spontaneous performance caused by a spontaneous request. =]

immortalized friendship
I seriously miss you guys and I can't wait to reunite once again with my fellow F2T6ians. I actually wanted to post the IMMORTALIZED FRIENDSHIP video that I made and showed to you guys at Mdm Cheng's class during the end of our last semester at KMK. However, due to its extra large size, the video cannot be uploaded. Ipso facto, I made something else for you.
Ikram, Ila, Zul, Nina, Hazwan, Azizah, Faiz, Laily, Fuad, Kak Chik, Halil, Syaimaa', Syed, Farah, Yusno, Kausar, Amre, Kak Long, Lite, Hilmi, Aiman and Fakah...this one is for you guys!

MATRES '08
Matriculation Chemical Engineering Seminar 2008 (MATRES '08) was held on the 10th until 12th of October 2008. It is to expose matriculation students to our Chemical Engineering & Natural Sources Faculty. This is actually my first time joining a programme organized by the Chemical Engineering Society or commonly known as CHEST.
I was the only first-year student in the committee, which means that I was the youngest (but not the smallest) of the bunch. In fact, I was the same age with most of the matriculation and secondary school student. In the beginning, I hardly knew any other member of the committee. Being the only newbie and not really knowing how things work around here yet, there was a slight fear that I wasn't fit for the task. Thankfully, all the other members were very helpful and I eventually enjoyed the gruelling work of a Documentation & Publication committee.

At this very moment...
Used tissue paper are all over my desk
(got infected by my roommate, I think)
I'm in the middle of a carrefour
(as in crossroad, not the supermarket)
I have tonnes of work to do
(preparation for my quizzes, tests, finals, exhibition, presentation and whatnot)
My ATM card is still blocked
(I entered the wrong pin number twice! what was I thinking?)
I must study for tomorrow's test
(lets not forget the presentation)
I feel like seeing my family
(because the last time I saw them was during the Ice Age)

my life in 7 words
The idea to publish this post originally came from my sister, Aa, who is insanely interested in weird, funny, brain-twisting, neuron-straining stuff. The topic came up while we were hanging out one day in Brunei.
I said : Define your life in SEVEN words.
She answered : "My life is 'a balancing game of decisions and results'. There, 7 words."
I asked my other sister, Wawa, for her definition of life in just SEVEN words and her answer was short, simple and straightforward :
Those were their answers. What is yours?
You can answer by leaving comments for this post. Feel free to be as expressive, creative and honest as you can be.
I'll post the 7 words of my life in exactly 7 days from the day this post is published. Until then, enjoy defining your life in 7 words.
